We host our own Debian server, running Apache, with PHP and MySQL. The server is equipped with 2x 500GB raided hard disks and your sites are regularly backed up off site. In essence, we keep your site safe from server failure, accidental deletion and malicious damage. |

As well as hosting email accounts for our clients, with all the usual services you'd expect (email forwarding, out of office, accessibility from webmail, mobile devices etc) we also offer premium quality email protection.
Our email server runs all incoming and outgoing email through a locally hosted ASSP (Anti Spam SMTP Proxy) server, which does (among other things):
- Checks for viruses using the latest ClamAV definitions
- Checks for known blacklisted web addresses in emails
- Checks for words and phrases that appeared in other emails confirmed as spam
- Uses third party ClamAV definitions to trap spam
And it does all this in seconds. If the server isn't entirely sure it is spam, it'll send you the email marked as [??SPAM??] so you can check yourself. If it is, you just need to email back and it'll update its database. Plus, when you send email to an address, it adds them to the server's whitelist, so emails don't get caught up in any spam filters in the future.
